I ran SPBuzz from 2004 through 2019, and revived it in the context of SPC’s proposed Lobbies & Grounds Project — just in time for our annual election! I encourage Candidates to make use of this site to make specific proposals and raise the level of discourse about the issues we face. I also republished a couple of presentations I produced in the wake of the failed 2018 Air Rights deal — don’t be fooled by the dates — these presentations pertain to how and when our community should participate in major decisions. Other than that, if you’re interested in participating or contributing to a new incarnation of SPBuzz, please let me know!

Election Corner is Back! SPBuzz has collected SPC election-related info from 2004 to the present day, and in the course of doing so, has investigated issues and enaged in may other initiatives aimed at raising the level of discourse with regard to the issues we face. Credentials are being shared with neighbors through a variety of trusted community channels, but if you can't connect, please contact me for more info.

The Gas Outage: One Year In! Five days after publication of the SPBuzz article, Management produced an extraordinary Update that included specifics of pressure tests, status of DOB inspections, and an approximate timeframe for restoring service based on timeframes we've observed for the building's other sections. In light of the largely unsubstantial nature of most of the Updates up to this point, there can be no doubt that Management has taken some of the input offered here to heart! Thank you, Management! Hopefully they'll take other SPBuzz recommendations into consideration if/when it comes time to perform similar overahauls of the gas infrastructure in Building #3.

Stepping Up Communication @ SPC. We've got all the tools for great communication and engagement... We should put them to better use.

Breaking News: The SPC Website is Awful! Not withstanding that the back-end of our co-op's information architecture is very complex, we should still expect far superior Shareholder-facing content on our portal. SPBuzz reviews all the content available on our portal and documents significant problems with it.
