DESIGN #3 - 1100 - INTERIOR VIEW OF
LOBBY AND VESTIBULE
A new mechanical system will be located above the lobby, distributing
hot or cold air from the edges of the dropped ceiling. The floating plane
discreetly conceals the warming and cooling vents. Equipment is housed
in existing space above the lobby an dlow air return occus at the bottom
edge of the wainscoting. Similar heating distribution is employed in lobby
passageways. Refinement of existing features, along with the introduction
of harmonizing surfaces, shapes and glass walls, all work to affect a
sense of spacial continuity and interplay between outside and inside at
Seward Park. |
