Our Board of Directors has reversed its earlier decision, and will continue the practice of sending proxy receipts. Thank you to all who supported the SPBuzz petition, but for this year, at least, it is no longer needed! Honorable mention to Geordan Goldstein who reported this issue in his initial candidate statement; it is possible that his turning it into a campaign issue was instrumental in bringing about the change.

According to our bylaws, the seat vacated upon the resignation of Debbie Finston would be filled for just one year ("Vacancies occuring on the Board that are filled at a meeting of Stockholders shall be filled for the remainder of the three year term(s) for which the Director(s) who left the Board was (were) elected"). SPBuzz has contacted our Directors and Candidates to suggest that all successful candidates ought to be seated for full three-year terms.

Dan Strum

Debbie Finston recently resigned from her position on the Board. A flyer from Ms. Finston claims that she resigned "under duress", rescinds her resignation, and challenges the legitimacy of fill "her" seat in the forthcoming election.
